Floris is an award winning architect and urban designer with over 35 years experience spanning 3 continents: Africa, Australia and the Middle East. As chairman of the celebrated design firm Meyer Pienaar and Partners in South Africa and subsequently in Australia he successfully led a full spectrum of architectural and urban design projects, ranging from corporate head offices, art galleries, libraries, university facilities and civic centres to various residential typologies and hotels. Floris joined DSA Architects International, Dubai in November 2008 after relocating from Australia and has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director, Middle East since September 2009. As the Design Principal he leads the design activities in Dubai and is a member of the Senior Executive Board of the company.
