Christian Scherer is Head of Business Development Glass at H.B.Fuller/Kömmerling. In his current role he has the global lead within the business unit to further develop the (smart) glass, façade & structural glazing applications of the Kömmerling IG sealant and adhesive portfolio. In addition, he is responsible for the calculation team, providing all services in joint dimensioning of sealants and FE analysis of the mechanical behavior of the edge compound of IGUs in façade & SG projects for IG producers, structural engineers, façade consultants & architects.   Prior to this, Christian has been working for Kömmerling as Business Development Manager responsible for the Façade - and Solar Market since 2014 after having served as Laboratory Manager in R&D department. Before joining Kömmerling in 2010 he worked as a project leader at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin.
