As the global head of strategy for the teams that develop silicon(e) based solutions which increase energy efficiency, sustainability and design performance of buildings, Jean-Paul’s responsibilities include market strategy development and implementation, innovation and marketing excellence for the Building & Infrastructure market at Dow. Based on five decades of innovation leadership, Dow continues to invest in developing solutions that can create innovative, durable, sustainable and functional High-Performance Buildings. Jean-Paul also co-lead globally the Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Dow (PR!ME) that promotes the benefits of cross-generational workforce, in particular with experienced workers. Jean-Paul joined Dow Corning in 1990 in Research and Development, where he played a key role in developing and commercializing a next generation silicone sealant product line. He subsequently held numerous global positions in the Construction Industry in Technical Service, Marketing and Commercial Leadership. Jean-Paul’s various positions within the industry, including expatriate experience in China, have given him a unique insight into the evolution and future of the construction industry globally. Jean Paul also serves as Treasurer on the executive board of FEICA, the Association of the European Adhesive & Sealant Industry. Jean-Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Liege, Belgium and a qualification on Marketing Industrial Products from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
